Dec 13 2022: The Bethlehem Bake Off - a tasty version of the Christmas story

STAR baker or star of Bethlehem…welcome to the nativity story of 2022!

Year 1 and 2 pupils at Sheffield’s Westbourne School delighted parents and friends with a tasty take on the Christmas story.

For in their version, the night before the first Christmas coincided with the Bethlehem Bake Off.

And there were some special extra ingredients in the shape of angels, shepherds and Three Wise Men

“Our Year 1 and 2 children gave a fantastic performance of the Bethlehem Bake Off Nativity,” said the Broomhill independent school’s Junior School Music Coordinator Hannah Thompson-Smith.

“The children did a cracking job of saying their lines and singing the songs and you could even say their performance  had all the ingredients for a truly egg-cellent nativity!”
