Nov 27 2014: Santa brings Christmas magic to Emmaus Sheffield
SANTA is taking a break from his Festive preparations as he makes a special visit to city charity Emmaus Sheffield.
The organisation that provides a home, support, training and work for homeless men and women, will be holding its popular annual Christmas Celebration at its Sipelia Works headquarters in Cadman Street, close to the Canal Basin, on Friday and Saturday, December 5 and 6.
And on Saturday between 10am and 2pm there will be a chance for young visitors to enjoy a special meeting with Father Christmas.
“We always aim to create a truly wonderful experience for all our visitors and are delighted that Father Christmas will be able to join us,” said Emmaus Retail Manager Charley Fedorenko.
Other attractions throughout the two days will include mince pies, hot chocolate and coffee for visitors and a special 10 per cent off offer on all furniture items in the popular Emmaus Second Hand store.
Emmaus General Manager Graham Bostock will also be leading behind scenes tours of the charity, which is based in one of Sheffield’s most important historic industrial buildings.
