Nov 16 2012: Three Kings bring Christmas magic to Crystal Peaks
THE Three Wise Men may have set off in search of Bethlehem…but they’ll still find time to call in at Crystal Peaks!
And although they may not find Gold, Frankincense and Myrrh in ready supply they should be able to pick up all the other season’s hot gift ideas.
The favourite nativity characters – along with their camels – are among the special attractions at the award-winning Sheffield shopping mall this Christmas.
The Biblical kings will be visiting the Crystal Peaks East Mall Plaza on December 8, bringing some festive magic with them as staff serve free hot roast chestnuts, hot drinks, mince pies and slices of Yule log.
Following the Crystal Peaks Christmas lights switch on by TOWIE star Mark Wright on Thursday November 15, a full month of seasonal fun begins on Saturday, November 17, with free face painting sessions in the East Mall from 11am to 3pm.
There’s a free craft workshop on Saturday, November 24, with a chance for children to make their own tree decorations, again between 11am and 3pm.
Real life penguins and their keepers will be the special guests in the Central Atrium on Saturday December 15 from 11am to 3pm, while Santa’s reindeer will just have to time to call into the East Mall Plaza on December 22, again from 11pm to 3pm.
“Christmas at Crystal Peaks is about all the family,” said the centre’s Retail and Marketing manager Laura Mathewson.
“So while mum and dad do the Christmas shopping we’re making sure that there’s plenty to keep the children entertained in addition to our popular 4D Santa’s Grotto, which is open every day until Christmas Eve.”
