Sep 02 2011: Assured provides added security for internet supplier
ASSURED Fire and Security has been awarded a £65,000 contract by Sheffield company Ask4 Business.
The South Yokshire based fire and security specialist will be providing a full system, including CCTV, fire and intruder alarms, fire extinguishers and fire suppression systems at the company’s new data centre.
Ask4, which was launched in Sheffield 11 years ago, is now the UK’s leading independent supplier of broadband Internet services to multiple tenanted residential developments.
“This is a very important contract for us because it not only strengthens our local client base, which is expanding all the time, but also adds another data centre to our portfolio,” said Assured Operations Director Matt Spivey.
“Our strong background in fire suppression systems and working in data centres gave us an advantage over our competitors adding the fact that we could also provide the complete fire safety and security solution gave us the final edge to win the business.
“It is also further proof of our faith in the importance of local businesses supporting each other wherever possible.”
