Apr 27 2011: Finding a VOICE in the global market

ONE of Sheffield’s fastest growing companies is making itself heard on a global scale.

VOICE, which is based in Woodseats and Broomhill, is the telemarketing business that has a client list of some of the best-known names in British business, including; e.on, Homeserve, Norgren PLC and Lloyds TSB.

But the company is also developing strong business links around the world with its VOICE International brand.

Working closely with the South Yorkshire International Trade Centre – the partnership of Sheffield, Barnsley & Rotherham and Doncaster Chambers of Commerce that delivers worldwide trade services throughout the South Yorkshire region - the company’s international department now has a team that can communicate successfully with most countries around the globe.

“Many companies in Yorkshire are trading successfully overseas, and so what we have developed are a range of services, from market research and database cleansing to building target prospect lists or even generating leads within the relevant European/South American countries, enabling us to compliment our clients’ business development activities” said VOICE director Jon Wall.

“I think the reason our approach has resonated so well with local businesses is that they can see we have identified the three key areas that need to be covered, allowing for consistent new business development opportunities overseas.

We have a highly experienced multi-lingual team to deliver the message but also understand fully the quality of data to be prospected and the actual approach to take within the call, to maximise return.

“We help with all those and as we continue our own expansion – we are on target to have a workforce of more than 500 within the next 12 months – we see this, in addition to our UK based contact centre services, as a key area for development within our business.”
