May 06 2010: Teeing off for Lost Chord
THE first Golf Day in aid of South Yorkshire dementia charity Lost Chord has already attracted ten teams…but there’s still room for plenty more!
The event for the charity that seeks to make a real difference to the lives of dementia sufferers in day centres and care homes across the region will be held at Lindrick Golf Course on June 25.
Entry costs £240 per team of four and includes refreshments, meal and prizes.
“We’re delighted with the response but know there are many other golfers who could join us for a great day on the links,” said Lost Chord fundraising and marketing manager Tina Harrison.
“Lost Chord needs to raise in excess £200,000 annually to maintain its programme of concerts across South Yorkshire so events like this are extremely important to us and we are delighted that so many people have already shown their support.”
